Oh i had huge ambitions this week and nope just the one atc finished .
So here it is , I love this image it is so me . I coloured with grey promarkers and a touch of lilac on the flower in her haor . Mounted on grey pearl card and onto plain white atc card
This image was brilliant to colour and i can see me using this a lot

Bev

As soon as I saw this little cat I envisioned fish jumping out of the water. In Windows I found this neat option to add the frame and you know me I love to frame everything. I pulled out my chalks, Copic Markers, and then I hand drew the tiny fish onto some scrap transparency I had and glued them on with Tombow glue, it dries clear so it doesn't show through, oh yeah, I touched them with a bit of orange Sharpie and added the doodles to make them look like they are jumping.

I chose the Bonsai tree and coloured it with my Copic Ciao pens. I mounted it onto some pretty paper from my stash and added some gems and a butterfly that my swap friends had sent me. Finished it off with a charm from Papermania made to look like it was hanging from the tree.

Joanne

How could I resist this utterly gorgeous image. Isn't she just beautiful. My first attempt at this card was a failure so I painstakingly coloured her with both Archival vermillion and magenta hue and copics, then cut her out. The background for this ATC was made by distressing it all over with evergreen bough and iced spruce DIs before spritzing a harlequin stamp with water which I used to take the inks away leaving the subtle effect you see. I then used a tape roll and 3D foam to attach the image to the card and added a few tiny feathers for her wings, a tiny flower and some curled wire for her hair slides.

Helen

I chose Sail away Sailor, which was very cute! Again I've printed my image a little smaller than the file size so I could fit him on the ATC.
I accidently printed him on cheep Tesco Value copier paper, but I think it came out OK. I've coloured the image with SU Stampin Write Markers in 3 of the blues. I've put basic jewels -Rhinestones in 3 visible the corners and stapled 4 different SU blue ribbons to the side before mounting everything on 3D foam to my ATC base.

AbbieI have used black and white card, the image is called Berry and I just love her, I have used very little color just gold, black and red. I have inked the edges of the white card and added a spiders web in the corner xx

Suze

Ali

I've chosen to use Sail Away Sailor.
Coloured with my Promarkers.
I've mounted it on some nautical paper from my stash onto a 6x6 scalloped card, then I copied the squiggle border around to create some interest added some glossy accents to the shells, all finished off with Some co-ordinating bakers twine and three yellow discs. Inside I've stamped a sentiment "Althought you maybe far away you are always in my thoughts"

Debbi

I coloured her with my pro-markers and am very surprised at how close the colours that I have chosen are to Joanne's (great minds! lol)
Once I had completed her I inked the edges of her and mounted her on to cherry card. I then mounted her on to black card and then on to the blank ATC.
I added a very thin strip of cherry card to the bottom of the image and I inked the edges of the ATC blank with cherry ink too.
I added some gems to the left hand side and then some dangly gems to the right which I stapled on (it took me a few attempts to get these to hold hence the scraggy edge!

CHALLENGE 11
(Anything Goes / Faces)

Our Sponsor for this fortnight is

Limited Runs

So this is what our lovelie DT have been up to

Joanne

This cute dragonfly from our sponsors 'Limited Runs' caught my eye because I wanted to make a child's birthday card this fortnight. The base card is 8" x 8" over-layed with some scrunched up Tim Holtz tissue wrap and retro grunge paper. The paper was torn and then distressed with fired brick distress ink. I made a little ATC for the bottom R/H corner using liquid applique for the body, distress markers to colour the wings and sticky gems for added bling. The big dragonfly has a button body but the same treatment for it's wings. Both have tiny, tiny sticky gems as eyes. The birthday greeting is re-cycled from a card I received for my birthday. The last little embellishment is a metal dragonfly brad.

I also loved the dragonfly,
I put 3 of them onto shrink plastic, coloured them,
shrank them and then glittered them.
I finished off by using a fabric background,
put pen trails from the dragonfly tails
and glittered those as well.

Leah

Helllooooo :D here is my entry as you can see i used the "hello" sentiment coloured with promarkers and then glazed with glossy accents added a couple of gems and cut with a nestie. The card under the sentiment has been embossed then mounted onto silver mirri card and on to base layer

Abbie

I have used Black card with the hello image I have decoupaged the flowers several times, I also used the dragonfly image, I have used whisper pens and finished off with some little pearls xx

I've chosen to use these cool wee guys
"Digger and Slimey"
kept it really simple, coloured with promarkers and added
some glossy accents on their eyes
and finished off with a doodle frame.

Beverly G

I loved the crisp clean look of this Hello sentiment digi for this challenge. I printed it onto Pool Party card stock from Stampin' Up, centered the Spellbinders scallop rectangle die closest to an ATC size and ran it through my die cut machine. I took the same die and traced around it onto Not Quite Navy card stock also from Stampin' Up and cut it out by hand to give it just a tiny backdrop, before I mounted these two together with dimensionals I colored the flowers with the Picket Fence distress marker, the dragonflies wings with a Clear Star gel pen, and the left shadows of hello with a Certainly Celery marker, then added my favorite tiny button brads to the center of the flowers.

I chose the 'Hello Doodle' image for this challenge. I like it as it is simple yet elegant. I printed the image twice on white card and then cut out the flowers again to decoupage them. The image is coloured with promarkers and then gems are used to add a little jazz to the ATC. I didn't want to put too much on it as I feel with an image like this little works better. I used gold glitter border peel offs to frame the image and along the left side of the ATC.

had fun with this image, he reminded me of my son years ago ..... he's promarkered, decoupaged and just makes me smile .... fab digi to work with ! :o) xx

Debbi

I love this guy from Limited Runs our sponsor this week and as our themethis time is 'faces' I thought he was perfect!. I decided that I would pro-marker him in very bright colours to make him stand out...
I then decided to only decoupage his head - and leave the rest of him as one layer...

For more details please see my blog...

Helen

I've embossed a frame onto my background then stamped a flower and added it to the centre. I love this dragonfly digi and glittered his wings after colouring with my new Stampin' Write markers in Turquoise.
